I’m Amanda Wright, a clinical hypnotherapist and wellness and mindfulness consultant specialising in weight management, sleep problems, anxiety, emotional wellbeing, chronic pain and women’s health across midlife and menopause, with additional support for neurodiversity and ADHD where relevant.
In addition to one-to-one clinical hypnotherapy, Hypnogenie is the clinical practice behind the Women’s Health Hypnosis Audio Library, providing professionally developed hypnosis audios that support women through perimenopause and menopause-related symptoms. Such as sleep disruption, hot flushes, emotional overwhelm, and weight concerns.
In our busy contemporary lifestyle, individuals of all ages are facing increased levels of anxiety and mental health issues. According to a recent survey by the Australian Psychological Society, there has been a concerning rise in depression and anxiety among children aged 13 to 18. Adults are also grappling with issues such as weight management, sleep disturbances and self-confidence.
As a clinical hypnotherapist, my passion lies in helping adults thrive by addressing these challenges and empowering them to overcome limiting beliefs. Through research-informed clinical hypnotherapy and natural nervous system support, we work together to improve sleep patterns, support emotional balance, reduce anxiety, achieve sustainable weight management, and navigate hormonal and life transitions, with additional support for ADHD-related challenges where relevant.

With over 25 years of professional experience in leadership roles within corporate organisations and government, I bring a unique blend of real-life expertise to my practice. I am trained in mental health, wellbeing, injury management, and have an extensive knowledge of lifestyle guidance. By combining these skills with clinical hypnotherapy, evidence-based cognitive-behavioural therapy, and practices like yoga and mindfulness, I offer a holistic approach to help you make lasting changes and achieve your desired outcomes.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science, a Graduate Diploma in Public Health, and an Advanced Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy. As a clinical hypnotherapist and kundalini yoga teacher, I am dedicated to empowering clients to improve their health and life.
